Jordi Ferre currently holds the position of Corporate VP Sales and Marketing for Pure Circle Ltd, the largest producer in the world of high purity Stevia and he has a long experience in sweetener and consumer products marketing to the “new natural 0 calorie sweetener sensation”. He is established in sales, marketing and product application functions and disciplines as well as building a first class team to service key customers globally.
From 2005-2008, Jordi was the VP in Sales and Marketing for Tate & Lyle SPLENDA® Sucralose Division, promoting the adoption of America’s favorite sweetener across leading food and beverage brands in the US but also across the world. Prior to this from 2004-2005, Jordi was the VP in Sales and Marketing for Wise Foods Inc, a leading East Coast manufacturer and distributor of salty snacks. Here, a strategic approach helped build a value added strategy based on ethnic marketing, core brand focus and distributor integrated programs. From 2000-2003, Jordi was the VP in Marketing/Business Development Americas for the Chupa Chups Group based in Atlanta, Ga. His responsibilities included North American Marketing strategy in the US, Canada and Mexico, all export business into Latin America and managing new strategic alliances in the US, including distribution, logistics, and co-manufacturing partnerships such as the one signed with M&M Mars.J ordi joined the Chupa Chups Headquarters in Barcelona in October 1996 as AREA MARKETING DIRECTOR becoming a member of a selective group of professionals that achieved annual double digit growth during the 90´s.From 1991-1996, he was the European Marketing Manager for the Trident Brand for Warner Lambert Co. based in Barcelona and Paris, including a Paneuropean role over the sales strategy in Europe. Jordi’s previous experiences included IBM Singapore, Henkel (Germany´s consumer products giant) and the Indo International Group in Miami, Florida.
Jordi Ferre is a native of Barcelona, speaks five languages and has an MBA by ESADE business school and PMD by IESE two of the best European business schools. Chosen “2001 Marketer of the next generation” by “Brandweek” Magazine.
